Ethiopian Washed Yirgacheffe
Named for the city and growing region it comes from in Ethiopia, Yirga-Cheffe is a classic bean from the 'birthplace of coffee'. This coffee is grown using passively-organic agricultural methods in small family gardens. All plants on these farms are wild heirloom varietals, grown at elevations up to 7800 feet. True to the taste profile of the Yirgacheffe region, this coffee exhibits an abundance of fresh lemon flavor balanced by soft floral and chocolate notes, lively acidity and a long finish.
