Guatemala SHB
Huixoc Estate is one of the pioneer family estates of the Huehuetenango region. For more than 50 years it's produced one of Guatemala's finest specialty coffees. The coffee is grown at very high altitudes of 5400 to 6200 feet from heirloom Bourbon plants. It’s then carefully milled and sun dried at the Estate's own mill. The extra care taken in the growing, harvesting and processing is apparent in the end result…every sip of Huixoc carries the bright, winy acidity, malty sweet chocolate flavor notes and creamy body of a great Guatemalan coffee.
SHB is an acronym for Strictly Hard Bean, an industry term used in South America for coffee grading and sort. SHB is considered the top of the line.
