Arokara is a coffee-growing cooperative in Papua New Guinea's eastern highlands, on the outskirts of the town of Kainantu between Mt. Yonki Dome (7500 feet) and Mt. Elendora (9200 feet). The coffee is grown in the rainforest, at altitudes up to 7500 feet, without the use of pesticides or fertilizers, making it passively organic. This grade AA Bourbon varietal Papua New Guinea is wonderfully tangy and juicy with notes of tropical fruit, green apple, coconut and citrus.
