Fair Trade certified. This exceptionally bright and fruity coffee is grown by member-farmers of the COOPAC cooperative. The COOPAC coffee cooperative is located on the steep slopes of northern Rwanda's volcanic mountains in Rutsiro and Rubavu districts. With over 2200 co-op members, COOPAC has assisted in the construction of a school, health care clinics, roads and bridges. The coffee is fully washed at a washing station along the shores of Lake Kivu. CUPPING NOTES: Sweet - fruity flavor, light-medium body, dry and clean finish, lots of pleasing acidity.
