Hawaii's Kona coast is one of the world's famed coffee regions. Kona's farms have formed an appellation - a district with legal boundaries - to protect Kona's unique qualities. Our supplier, Kona Star Farm, has for over a quarter-century grown Arabica Typica, one of coffee's heirloom varieties. In concert with Kona's volcanic soil and incomparable climate, Typica produces coffee with a wonderfully sweet, mellow flavor.
