Organic Fair Trade Guatemala
Nearly all of the coffee produced in Guatemala is naturally shade-grown. German immigrants began coffee production in Guatemala at the end of the 19th century. Today, over 200 years later, it is the world’s 6th largest exporter of coffee and fully one quarter of the nation’s citizens make a living from coffee. Our coffee comes from the southwestern highlands and is grown by farmer-members of MANOS Campesinas. Manos is an umbrella organization pulling together multiple grassroots cooperatives in the growing regions. it soles represents small-crop coffee farmers all cultivating certified organic crops under fair trade conditions. This crop of Organic Fair Trade Guatemala is clean and well-rounded with an exciting aroma. Our signature full city roast enhances the coffee's inherent soft smoky flavors. Your palate will detect a peppery, spicy twist and bittersweet chocolate and black cherry flavor notes.
