El Salvador
With fragrances of orange blossoms and a spicy acidity that pops off your palate, you're sure to fall in love with this cup. The coffee is a fully washed SHG from the Santa Rita region of northwestern El Salvador. SHG stands for "strictly high grown" meaning the coffee trees are grown at elevations above 5000 feet in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range near the Guatemalan border. The cup features a vibrant acidity, light body with a truly rich and lingering finish with notes of bourbon, vanilla and caramel. Makes a nice breakfast coffee or a great vacuum pot for a special after meal treat in lieu of brandy.
